The Short Version

I'm a Senior Product Designer at Disney, building AI-enabled tools for filmmakers. I've spent 15 years designing for audiences—first in live entertainment, now in digital products.

I think about design the way a showrunner thinks about television: every frame matters, every interaction is a story beat, and you're always one bad decision away from losing the audience.

What I'm Doing Now

At Disney, I design internal tools that help filmmakers work faster and smarter. My current focus is AI integration—using Claude to compress what would normally take 3 years into 3 months.

This isn't theoretical. I'm shipping production tools at a pace that surprises even me.

Where I've Been

ABC News

Led design for Election Night 2024. Built the interactive electoral map and homepage takeover that helped ABC become the #1 broadcast network on election night. 22M visitors. 118M interactions. Accessibility overhaul with Level Access.

CuriosityStream

Built a design system from scratch across 4 platforms (web, iOS, Android, TV). Led the television experience redesign. 3 years, millions of subscribers.

AT&T / DIRECTV

Created the prototype layer that let an enterprise move at startup speed. Shipped designs across all major streaming platforms.

The Honest Company

Redesigned for SEO and conversion. Bounce rate dropped from 70% to 43%.

The Backstory

I didn't start in tech. I started in live television—Grammy Awards, major broadcasts, production teams around the world. I learned that when 10 million people are watching simultaneously, you don't get a second take.

That pressure shaped how I design. I obsess over edge cases. I design for the worst-case data state. I assume the user is distracted, impatient, and one tap away from leaving.

When streaming exploded, I saw the connection: the same principles that make live TV work—clarity, pacing, emotional resonance—apply to digital products. I taught myself design, built a portfolio, and spent the next decade at companies where content meets technology.

What Makes Me Different

I understand audiences.

Not just users—audiences. I know what it feels like to have millions of people experience your work at the same moment. That changes how you think about design.

I build systems, not just screens.

Design systems, cross-platform consistency, scalable components. I think in systems because I've seen what happens when you don't.

I ship with AI.

I'm not waiting for AI to change design—I'm using it now to move faster than traditional teams. Claude is my co-pilot, and it's a genuine competitive advantage.
